CPC Course
Completing 35 hours of approved CPC training every 5 years validates your Driver Qualification Card (DQC), entitling you to earn a living from LGV and PCV driving.
To us, CPC training is not just a tick in the box. As an approved provider of CPC training, our DVSA (Previous JAUPT)-approved training offers relevant, ongoing training that promotes safe, confident driving – for life.
And with many different courses to choose from, (from health and safety, traffic laws, first aid and driving in severe weather to ADR, Eco-driving, Tachograph regulations and PPE), we can help you tailor your training to your interests and needs by building bespoke courses, if required.
What to expect when you train with DHTA
At DHTA, we set the standard for PCV training – it’s why our pass rates are so high and why you’ll feel confident and supported throughout your training journey. When you earn or renew your CPC with us, you can expect:
- Exceptional training from our own team of highly qualified DVSA driver trainers.
- A whole host of extra driving tips and advice that ensure your ongoing journey as a lorry driver is safer, easier, and more enjoyable – we offer in-cab CPC hours in addition to classroom-based training.
- Remote facilities. We will deliver at your premises; our training academy is LGV and PCV using our own DVSA-approved training facilities.
- 3.5-hour sessions. Over 2 consecutive days ideal for coach operators with schools. Start at 1000 finish at 1330.
- Share the training with other local operators to get the numbers, each course can only accommodate 20 persons.
